MIM Block 1: Becoming a Great People Manager

Block 1 of Managers In Motion is all about getting to know yourself and the people around you. You will spend time learning about your work style and how it might impact your team and others around you.

You will focus on getting to know your team in a deeper way and then begin to think about how to get to know your direct manager better. This is a foundation for becoming a great people manager – it starts with the people.

MIM Block 2: Motivate Your Team & Manage the Work

In Block 2, we will build on getting to know the people by focusing on the work done by the team, learning how to help them prioritize their work, and understanding how to motivate everyone around us by clearly tying their work to the mission. 

MIM Block 3: Give Feedback that Drives Performance & Growth

Block 3 of Managers In Motion is a powerful workshop providing concrete, practical advice and models for driving performance and growth through effective feedback.

We start with an activity that helps uncover as many opportunities for feedback as possible – feedback is fuel for performance! 

MIM Block 4:
Manage Up & Out

In Block 4 of Managers in Motion we bring it all together – we review all you have learned through the first three blocks and guide you to identify your personal priorities for continuing your development.
